Rev. Jeffrey Yocum serves as Pastor of First Baptist Church in Perryville, Ky. He is a true man of God who has been anointed and appointed by God to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ. Pastor Yocum began his ministerial journey at First Baptist Church in Springfield, Ky. under the leadership and guidance of Rev. Windrell Hunn, Jr. There he was licensed and ordained as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

He served faithfully in positions such as ordained deacon, Associate Minister, Sunday School Teacher, Secretary of Sunday School, member of the Brotherhood, Auditor for the South District Association and preaching and teaching the Word of God in various churches before becoming a Pastor.

 

Under his leadership not only is First Baptist Perryville growing spiritually through the Word of God, but also in membership by bringing more souls to Christ. Pastor Yocum’s desire is for people to be saved and come to know God. He strongly believes in preaching and teaching sound doctrine and biblical truths.

 

Pastor Yocum and his wife, Crystal have been married since 1995. They have been blessed with three children, Victoria, Jeffrey and Christian.
